Industry Leading Technology

We use the very latest in technological advances to ensure our customers’ evolving standards are always met.

Experienced Journeymen Patternmakers use decades of experience to produce consistently high-quality foundry tooling. Today, we implement a plastics process to generate a quality tool with a quick turnaround. All while staying remarkably cost effective.

Metal Shop

The Metal Shop is involved in most jobs at Liberty Pattern, and we’re ready for anything, including machining, welding, turning, fabricating and rigging. By working together with the Wood & Plastic and CNC areas, our team creates a smooth production flow through the building process, allowing for a quicker and more efficient construction time.

In today’s market, literally hundreds of different plastic products are available for use in manufacturing. At Liberty Pattern, we have the facilities and expertise to work with almost every variety, implementing a plastic process to produce patterns and core boxes for multiple industries, specializing in the aerospace industries. Our employees and process produce a quality tool with a quick turnaround time, benefiting customers with tight deadlines.

CNC

With 12 CNC’s and our largest 5-axis machine travel of 177” x 138” x 55” our CNC shop can accommodate your project needs. From 3-axis to 5-axis CNC machining with all the cross format capabilities you need.

Most jobs begin in the CNC department with our Programmer/Operators, where the majority of design and dimensional work is performed. Starting with a customer’s part blueprint or electronic model, we’ll create a 3D computer model used for generating tool path programs executed on our CNC mills.

Our software not only has complete design and manufacturing capabilities, it is also fully compatible with other CAD systems through its converters. If a 3D CAD model already exists, we’ll use it to manufacture the tooling. When the CNC work is done, the job then moves on to the Pattern Shop, Metal Shop, or Fixture Department depending on what type of equipment is required, for the next phase of pattern build.
