Liberty Pattern Company Acquires Voxeljet 3D Printer
Liberty Pattern Company has made a strategic investment in a Voxeljet VX1000 3D printer, a precise option for building larger components out of plastics, sands, and ceramics. With the addition of this system, 3D printed cores utilizing phenolic binder are now available, in addition to the more traditional furan-printed cores.
“We are thrilled to integrate the Voxeljet VX1000 into our operations at Liberty Pattern. This innovative technology not only enhances our production capabilities but also aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering quality, precision-engineered patterns and molds to our clients,” said Steve Slininger, President of Liberty Pattern Company. “The VX1000 is an important addition, enabling us to meet the increasing demands of our diverse clientele with greater efficiency and innovation. We are excited about the possibilities this opens up for us and our customers.”
The VX1000 enhances additive manufacturing production, sustainability, and innovation, while also asserting Liberty Pattern Company’s commitment to providing powerful technology that gives its customers a competitive edge. Key capabilities of the VX1000 3D printer include:
- Build volume of 1000 × 600 × 500 mm to produce bigger and more complex components in a single run.
- Ability to print multiple medias.
- User-friendly setup, design modification, and optimization of print parameters.
The Voxeljet VX1000 employs Voxeljet’s proprietary binder jetting technology, ensuring that every detail of a design is meticulously captured and reproduced. Advanced monitoring and control systems provide real-time feedback during the printing process. This feature allows operators to make necessary adjustments on the fly, ensuring that each component adheres to strict quality standards.
